When you host a get-to-gether, you’ll gather your friends, family, neighbors and acquantances - any one that takes photos. Your consultant will advice you and give you ideas on displaying your photos and of sharing the stories.
What can you expect?
Nothing but fun! Everyone likes sharing their favourite photos and experience. They’ll want to stay and share more stories as they learn how easy it is to journal their story.
What’s in it for you?

Classes
Through Classes and Workshops, your Consultant will help you safely preserve and chronicle your memories. Research has shown that the best way of promoting album scrapbooking and getting clients is by showing your album (and thus your pride) to them. As you work with your Consultant, you will:
- Discover how to safely protect your photos and memorabilia
- Develop techniques for organizing, cropping and mounting your photos
- Learn how to journal - effectively telling the stories behind the photos in an easy way
- Use your Consultant’s experience and knowledge to help you complete your albums
- Pick up new layout and album ideas
Embizo Workshops
Embizo is a derivative of the Zulu word Imbizo, meaning a gathering, a celebration, a coming together of friendship, soul and spirit.
We have chosen this typical South African word for our workshops because it depicts the theme of our get-to-gether so beautifully: a gathering of friends, family, neighbors and acquantances; of having fun.
